FLEECE-LINED SOFTSHELL: WEATHER-PROOF ARMOR FOR OPERATIONS AND HIKES. 15000/10000 VS 32000/15000

Attention, operators, rangers, airsoft players, and survivalists! When you need more than just a jacket, but a functional layer for action in any weather, a professional fleece-lined softshell is the choice. Today, a guide to our key models and their tactical advantages.

Why is a fleece-lined softshell a must-have for tactical and touring?

Warmth and protection in ONE layer: The fleece lining retains body heat, while the membrane-lined outer layer provides a barrier against wind, rain, and snow. Ideal for patrols, ambushes, and multi-day hikes. 2. Silence: A high-quality softshell doesn't rustle, unlike "hard" membranes (hardshells). Critical for covert movement. 3. Elasticity and Freedom of Movement: Doesn't restrict movement, allowing for active weapon handling, rock climbing, and overcoming obstacles. 4. Wear Resistance: Withstands contact with backpacks, harnesses, rocks, and branches. 5. Tactical Features: Compatibility with body armor, ability to integrate into a layering system.

CHARACTERISTICS: Definition for Pros (15000/10000 vs. 32000/15000)

These aren't abstract numbers – they represent your protection and effectiveness:

Water Resistance (First Digit: XXXX mm H2O): - 15,000 mm: Reliable protection from prolonged drizzle, wet snow, and wind. Enough for most urban training exercises, airsoft, and rainy wooded hikes. Withstands several hours of rain - 32,000 mm: Extreme protection. Resists heavy rain, gusty winds with snow, and prolonged exposure to dampness. Designed for high altitudes, the sea coast, arctic conditions, and long-term wet-weather raids. A virtually waterproof shield.

Vapor Permeability / Breathability (Second Digit: XXXX g/m²/24h): - 10,000 g/m²: Excellent breathability. For moderate activity: forced marches, patrolling with a normal load, hiking. Sweat is effectively wicked away, keeping the body dry. - 15,000 g/m²: Super breathability. Essential for HIGH activity: running with full gear, summit pushes, intense combat, mountaineering. Guarantees dryness and comfort even under maximum stress. Prevents overheating and hypothermia due to moisture. Option selection:

Softshell 15000/10000: - Uses: Urban/forest tactics (airsoft, training), hiking in moderate climates, EDC (everyday carry for the prepared), training with normal loads. - Pros: Often lighter and more compact, better price. - Cons: Limited protection in extreme downpours/sleet with prolonged exposure.

Softshell 32000/15000: - Uses: Special operations in difficult weather conditions, mountain/arctic tourism, survival, long raids with heavy gear, work on the water/coast, extreme tourism. - Pros: Maximum water protection + better breathability under load. An investment in survivability. - Cons: Higher price, slightly heavier/bulkier.

How to Wear: Tactical Layering

A fleece-lined softshell offers insulation, windproofness, and moisture protection in one! Layering System:

Base Layer (Required!): Functional thermal underwear that wicks sweat away from the body and into the softshell. Do not use cotton!

Fleece-lined softshell: Your primary combat/hiking garment for temperatures from +10°C to -10°C (the range varies greatly depending on the activity and material). Sufficient on its own in most scenarios.

Insulation Layer (In extreme cold/static conditions): If the temperature is below -10°C or you're in ambush/observation, wear the following over the softshell:

Insulated vest

Thin down jacket (in dry conditions)

Fleece jacket

Outer Protection (In extreme weather/when maximum protection is needed): Wear a hardshell (a rigid membrane, e.g., 20,000+ mm) over the softshell. The softshell works great as an insulating layer underneath.

Critical Important:

Washing: Only use special detergents for membrane fabrics! Regular detergents WILL destroy the DWR coating and membrane. Wash only when necessary.

DWR Restoration: After washing or if the outer layer becomes "wet" (the fabric absorbs water, but the membrane inside holds it), be sure to treat it with a spray/impregnation to restore the water-repellent properties.

Drying: Naturally, away from direct heat sources (radiator, fire!). Tumble dry on a VERY gentle setting.

Storage: Clean and dry, preferably not creased.

Bottom Line: Choose the Right One for the Job!

"OPERATOR" (15,000/10,000): A versatile jacket for moderate conditions and loads. Optimal in price/features.

"RAIDER" (32,000/15,000): A weapon for extreme sports. Maximum protection and breathability where the outcome (or life) depends on the gear.

"Operator" and "Raider" aren't the names of the kits; they're just a division of the softshell to help you understand its purpose.

Don't skimp on the layer that stands between you and the elements. Choose a professional softshell.
